Sunday Social

I’ve decided to join other great bloggers for Social Sunday. I haven’t participated in a long time, over a month 1/2! I think these posts are fun because the questions are unique as are the answers. It’s sort of like going around the room & answering the same questions. You learn about the person behind the blog & vise versa. This week marks the 2 year anniversary of the link up. Now let the Q&A begin..

1. Introduce yourself and your blog to us
My name is Leslie, I’m from Raleigh, NC. I’m just an energetic, fun loving, gal who likes to cook & loves to bake. I also like to dabble with my crafty side too. On the blog you’ll find recipes, crafts, guest bloggers sharing their niche, & pretty much anything life throws at me.. All with a splash of sass & sarcasm.

2. What is your favorite form of Social Media and why?
I like Twitter a lot, although I’m starting to get into Facebook a little more. Twitter is fun but there’s only so much ya can say in 140 characters. Facebook is interesting because I’ve found more groups to join.

3. What made you start a blog?
I started a food blog a few months before I started The Crafty Side Of Sarcasm but I didn’t put in any time because I thought no one would read it. It was something to do to pass the time. After I stopped the food blog I was glueing small pieces of scrap book paper to clothes pins for my tuna can votives ( you can see them here ) when it hit me! “I’ll make a craft/DIY blog thus “The Crafty Side Of Sarcasm” was born.

4. What do you feel the most meaningful/special post you’ve written is?
I don’t like to get in too deep about personal things happening in my life but there are a few things that are opening me up to it. After all, it is my blog & my story. I wrote a post about the time my mom, brother, & I were in a tornado when Kevin & I were 3 years old ( read that story here ) & another about the bond my brother & I have. We are twins & he’s my best friend. I had a lot of fun writing that post & you can read it here.
